NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATION

Sunset Square is a popular filming location because of its varied residential looks and its proximity to the heart of Hollywood.  Some of the well-known movies and shows that have been filmed in our neighborhood include:  Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Father of the Bride (Spencer Tracy/Elizabeth Taylor version), American Horror Story, Hollywood, and NCIS: Los Angeles, just to name a few.

Like other popular filming neighborhoods, Sunset Square requires a Neighborhood Impact Fee payable to our organization for all productions.  The funds collected are deposited in the organization’s general fund and are used for the betterment of the neighborhood.  When FilmLA issues a permit for filming in Sunset Square, our film liaisons reach out to the production manager to initiate payment of the Neighborhood Impact Fee.
