MISSION STATEMENT
Sunset Square Neighborhood Organization is a non-profit that was established by residents of the Sunset Square HPOZ for the following purposes:
• To preserve our “streetcar suburban” residential flats that were developed from 1910 to 1930 around the Pacific Electric Railway stop called Gardner Junction. Sunset Square, Spaulding Square and Gardner Junction must be protected for the legacy of historic Hollywood.
• To enhance the Sunset Square and surrounding community through historic preservation, communications, advocacy, beautification, and support for Gardner Street School so that our park-like residential flats may be enjoyed by all.
